Dr. Luckhart is an expert in arthropod-borne infectious diseases and serves as a Professor and Co-Director of Institute for Health in the Human Ecosystem at the University of Idaho. Her major focus is malaria, including innate immunity in the mosquito and mammalian host and interventions to block both disease and transmission. Dr. Luckhart supports Disease Ecology efforts for the ForeSITE program.
