Rahat is a Ph.D. student in the School of Computing at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute, University of Utah, where he worked in Shape+VIS Lab, advised by Paul Rosen. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Utah in 2024 and completed a research internship at Epsilon in 2025. He plans to graduate in Spring 2027. Rahat’s research intersects between Data Visualization and Deep Learning. Currently, he is developing a declarative layer visualization grammar for deep learning models, which will enable generalized visualization of any deep learning model with a unified interface.
