Dr. Jeong-Yeon Cho is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He earned his PharmD (2017) and PhD (2022) in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from Sungkyunkwan University. His expertise is in Health Technology Assessment. He has been involved in several cost-effectiveness modeling works and has generated real-world evidence in various disease area (Covid-19; Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; Hereditary angioedema; Ovarian Cancer; Breast Cancer; Hepatocellular Carcinoma; Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma; and so on). He prepared several economic evaluation dossier to be submitted to the HTA body. Based on his extensive experience on disease modeling, he got scholarship (2024) from Summer Institute of Statistics and Modeling in Infectious Diseases. He is also working on developing an approach to incorporate social determinants of health as part of infectious disease modeling to support policy decision making and implementation process.
