Dr. Hazel Guerrero is a data analyst that provides support with project management at the Lofgren Lab at Washington State University. Dr. Guerrero has training in different aspects of immunology, pathogenesis and epidemiology of infectious diseases. Dr. Guerrero graduated from George Washington University with a master’s in public health focused on Global Health Epidemiology and Disease Control. She also holds a Master of Science in Immunology from Imperial College London, and a Medical Degree from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. Because of her background, she has observed firsthand the vulnerability of different populations to epidemics, and she is determined to continue working on prevention and preparedness.
