Dr. Clancey is a quantitative biologist whose research focuses on using mathematical and statistical models to understand complex biological processes. Dr. Clancey’s research interests include modeling disease transmission, disease ecology, predicting disease spillover, host-pathogen coevolution, and statistical methods. She has ongoing collaborations with the Lofgren lab group, the EEID-Palouse team, the Molecular Ecology of Zoonotic and Animal Pathogens (MEZAP) lab, and the NIH Center for Research in Emerging Infectious Diseases – Eastern and Central Africa.
