ForeSITE is a CDC Center for Integration in the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics Insight Net. The goal of ForeSITE is to 1) work collaboratively with local and state health departments and healthcare organizations to implement and iteratively refine tools for outbreak analytics and infectious disease modeling; 2) evaluate the usability and usefulness of these analytic and modeling tools for public health and healthcare decision-making; 3) partner with CDC and other Centers in the CFA Centers for Outbreak Analytics and Disease Modeling Network to enhance national capability to respond to infectious disease threats and public health emergencies.

CFA Insight Net
ForeSITE is one of 13 Insight Net centers across the U.S. improving the ability to understand, predict, prepare for, and respond to infectious disease emergencies. ForeSITE serves as an Integration Center driven to adapt analytic tools for use in real-word settings.

Our Role as Integrators
ForeSITE represents one of five Insight Net Integrators. As a center of integration, ForeSITE aims to align STLT partners with tools for real-world use, develop response-ready pipelines, and evaluate the value of these tools and methods.

Toolset Teams
ForeSITE consists of seven core teams spanning a range of analytical subject areas, which include: Anomaly Detection & Forecasting/Nowcasting, Parameter Estimation & Scenario Modeling, Economic Impact Analysis, Rapid Response, Disease Ecology, Tool Development, and Sociotechnical Evaluation, Design, & Implementation (STEDI).
